If you are sexually active, meaning any sort of sexual acts: oral, anal, vaginal, or anything where the male ejaculates, you could be pregnant. If you have not done any of those things, It is most likely your body just getting into it's cycle. When you are just starting your period, it is irregular. The most important thing is to speak to your parents, they can help you by making an appointment with a doctor, who can help you better understand what is going on with your body. Good luck.

Dietary issues could be causing the volatility of your period. Also, if you've just recently began getting your period, it's likely not on a stable cycle yet. If you continue to have problems, I would suggest seeing a doctor. They're going to have the best insight on the problem.

it can take a while for periods to settle down in a young person,if your sure ur not pregnant i wouldnt worry, talk to an older woman, youth councilor at school or your doctor if you cant discuss these things with your parents. stress can make your period late!!!

At thirteen, your cycles can be expected to be somewhat irregular, give yourself another month, if you haven't had a period by then, it's time to see a doctor.
