Yahoo Answers: Do you think there more helpful people or more smart alecs on here?

Question

Seems some people just want to get on here to act like an a$$. Some even give psuedo-advice that could be dangerous, as the asker can not see the answerer thinks they are being funny - such as one person suggested someone give his dog antifreeze (highly toxic!) to stop it's seizures! That is sick, cruel, and psychotic. I don't understand what drives some people to act like this. Maybe they are closet bullies that revel in the anonymity this forum brings? Please, if you want to & can help someone, give them your advice. If you want to act like a comedian, get busy writing your act & go on some talent show!

I totally agree with you, there are some very hurtful people in the world and it's true some people on here do say some mean things and things that could help but, you know what that is how this crazy world works, I just hope that there are people on here that can tell the difference of being an a$$ and really trying to be helpful.

ill tell u now i try to give ppl good advice n not smart alic remarks now sometime i say things that arent sugar coated but its the truth n if ppl really open up n take it for what its worth then theyll really get it

curiously to me that maximum questions are dumb, and that's being type approximately it. the internet is rife with young ones, and to cover their lack of information, they post stupid comments, of which maximum of are of a sexual nature. they think of they are cool in doing so, in spite of the shown fact that it basically shows their naivety and young ones.
