most ppl here say if Iran makes a bomb they will use it, so whats the big deal the US has used it before nothing new?

ppl,didn't actually the Us wipe Japan of?
and didn'the ones who used it know what the effect is going to be?if it was bad why does the US still keep making more bombs?
and sth else these conflicts about Irans nuclear program started at Khatamis time and no talkes of wipping Israel was made at his time.
the enrichment of uraniam needs to be more than90%for making bombs while Iran sayes it will keep it only 3%and the ppl of the nuclear agency are able to check that when ever they want,and as far as they have cheked Irans sites, the reactores that they have is not able to make bombs?

You lack the perspective to understand this. While the United States has had nuclear weapons since 1944, it has not used them other than to end World War II with Japan (Germany had already surrendered.)

You need to understand that by using the bombs the US actually saved thousands of lives on both sides of the conflict because Japan (which wanted to take over the world) simply would not surrender. If the USA had not used the bombs the war would have gone on for years, killing many more people.

The USA did not drop the bomb on Tokyo or a very large city but on small cities after warnings.

Since then despite being involved in more than a dozen wars, the USA has not used any of its nuclear or chemical weapons. Compare that with Saddam, who used nerve gas on the Kurds and killed many of his own people.

The USA has the capacity to humanely use weapons.

We used atomic weapons to put an end to WWII. Unbelievably it took two of them to do the job. That's the kind of enemy we were up against. You might want to check into how many American lives were lost in that war. We had a way to stop the war and we used it. It wasn't an easy decision by the way. Now Iran is a country that wants to start wars and not stop them. We don't want unstable countries with idiots in power to have access to this technology because they will use it to literally destroy Israel. Here in the U.S. it requires quite a few OKs to get the go ahead to make a nuclear strike against another country. In Iran I'm assuming that it would only take one person and a trigger. The scientists that developed the A-Bomb didn't want to do it but they new what the consequences would be if Germany got one first. They chose the lesser of evils. It should be obvious that we don't want to use our own huge stockpile of nuclear weapons. We have them as a deterrent not as a means of fighting war. A-Bombs are bad for everyone. Just be thankful that it is mostly the more responsible countries that have them. We don't want some retard from Iran to have one. It would be a huge threat to peace. It would probably be a guarantee to an end of peace.

The U.S.A and China and Russia and others tried to work out a deal with Iran so that they could have access to the technology of creating electricity using nuclear reactors. The deal wasn't good enough for Iran and they rejected the offer. To me it was proof that they are not being honest in what they say their goals are for nuclear technology. If they get enough centrifuges going they could develop weapons grade plutunium. We seriously would have liked to build a relationship with Iran but it's not our fault that they are stupid.

When America used this weapon, it was in a time, when we didn't really know the implications, I am not using that as an excuse, but it is the truth. Since then the world community has pretty much decided that a super power which has such weapons, should be responsible for its use. And if you will note, the US and all other nuclear superpowers have kept from using the weapon. Iran and North Korea have no self restrictions. They see the weapon as "if we have it, we use it". They will not hold back from the use, when they threaten to use it, they will. It isn't such a concern if the nation who holds nuclear power uses it responsibly, the world in general can't trust Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Syria, Lebanon, and other like minded countries to have nuclear power, and use it responsibly.
