I'd say take a quick drive or flight to Denver, go just into the mountains, and stay in Idaho Springs. Or drive a half hour further and stay in Estes Park.

Makes for a GREAT mini-vacation!

Like others said, quick flight to Las Vegas. If you don't gamble you can rent a car & go see Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon & several other nearby national parks.

Already spoke back so i will take the bonus. i'm the MS guy who reported the Cardinals. they're the main consumer-friendly team up here in the northwestern area of the state (the Memphis metro section). yet statewide the Braves, and probable the Astros, are extra consumer-friendly. we've a brilliant sort of faulty human beings in this state. i'm shocked there are extra purple Sox followers nicely faraway from Boston than the different team has followers a techniques faraway from their homestead city. additionally, 12 followers in manhattan, yet no Mets votes yet? it is enormously astounding.
