there is a camera at the finish line that decides who crosses the finish line first, to the thousandth of a second. if all three crossed the finish line at the EXACT same time (possible, but not likely) then they all get gold

They go into extra time and if its still a tie they have penalty shot out, and then after that they do rock, paper, scissors
