there are some women and men that do not have such a touchy gag reflex. You can search and you may find the perfect partner who can perform oral sex without almost puking in your lap. I wouldn't hold out if I were you.

It's a reflex. The gag reflex is a contraction of the back of the throat that prevents objects from entering the throat except as part of normal swallowing. This helps prevent choking.
Touching the soft palate evokes a strong gag reflex in most women. But women can train themselves to resist the gag reflex, for example as part of the act of sword swallowing, or giving head.
Here are two hints:
1. Lay her on her back with her head hanging over the side. Slowly (and I mean *slowly*) go back and forth. This positions her throat into a less-gagging position. But this also makes her very vunerable, so there's a lot of trust involved. If you skewer her, goodbye BJ's for a while.
2. If she holds her breath when taking you on, this controls the gag reflex.

She may have too much saliva in her mouth. Make sure she spits or swallows every once in a while when she's giving you a BJ and that won't happen.
