I'm not sure what kind of spots. Like makeup itself that won't come off, or spots because you had some kind of allergic reaction.
I would say use a gentil makeup remover and as you said, stop using that makeup. If its not an allergic reaction and you just can't seem to take it off, I would try some kind of astringent like an Oxy or Strydex pad or Witch Hazel. Also baby oil.

slough off skin cells with sugar then use a mask like a mint mask use all new makeup clinique or natural makeup line.. start with mascara dry blush and powders.. ur pores got clogged.. makeup should be non clogging theres an ingredient that dint agree with u i cant use cover girl as there is camphor in it this can make u break out oils can too to much of them.. cleanse face daily keep brushes clean..

You must have very sensitive skin... make up wouldn't cause a reaction like this unless you're allergic to one of the ingredients. See what happens since you don't wear it anymore.....if it's still there after 5-7 days I would see a doctor.

maybe the makeup you are using is having a reaction on yr skin. might be better not to use it. this article has some great skincare and makeup tips that will help you out more

The only thing I can think of is a possible allergic reaction. I recommend seeing a dermatologist, as this could be a serious condition.

well what i think u should do is everyday wash ur face and if that doesn't help then find a skin product that can help the spots vanish.
