That depends, is it before the change or after the change?
The New (made for new/next generation - suckers) titles kinda suck.
The original first printings are better, okay I'm old-er,....

Seriously,... The original Weapon X,... better know as wolverine, shorter - immortal, cigar smokin and honery as hell.
The New Wolverine, I'm sorry to say is just way too gay.

Moonglow is right, if anyone could have more potential to be the most powerful of all super mutants, that would have to be Rogue.
All she has to do is take the powers of immortality from an immortal, and she can be young and beautiful for forever.
Absorb the Power of any powerful invidual, her absorbed powers are cumilative. Until she is the most powerful of all of them, if she desired to be the most powerful, easily outclassing any super bad super villian.
Unfortunately, she has a conscience, and she is one of the good guys (most of the time).

Well since Jean is out of the question I would like to have Little Katherine Prides mutant powers, oops! Kitty Pride or should I call her Shadow Cat. In any event, she has the ability to move through solid objects. Hey this would come in handy if you wanted to still secrets from a organization, I mean what are they going to do to you shoot ya?
Anyway, I think these mutant abilities would very well come in handy for just about anything. oh yeah Phasing is just one of her abilities, check out this site to find out what the rest are.

You suck, I wanted to pick Jean Grey. Well since I cannot choose her, then I will say Rachel Summers, because she is just as powerful or more powerful than her mother.

Rogue. Not the boring movie version, but the Rogue from the comics and cartoon. The kickass, voluptuous flying Rogue.

Rogue because in the comics she could fly after she permanently absorbed Ms Marvel's powers. She also is one of the most powerful members of the X-teams and let us not forget she has Gambit lusting after her!!

I'm not sure if this counts because he is from an alternate reality, and not an X-Man in the traditionally portrayed reality, but I would have to go with Mimic.

it would be magnito becasue think about it if you can control metal you can hit,protect and even fly with it.you can also attack people from far away or near distance.so he is cool strong and awsome.
