imagining things, then happening?

hey, my uncle has told me that if you imagine yourself doing something, it will truely happen. like if you imagine your self being rich then it WILL happen. he said that it could happen for a short period of time or long, and that it could happen in 5 mintues or 5 years. he said that it had something to do with your subconscious mind. is it true?

If you imagine yourself doing it and THEN going out and trying to make it happen, then yes, it's true. But if you imagine yourself earning millions of dollars and, while you wait for it to happen, you watch television, it isn't going to happen.

It's called the power of the mind. Visualization - projecting in your mind what you want to accomplish.

Of course, you need to do it after you project it. You can't just want it and not do anything about it.
