DId anyone wait for sex until the night of their wedding? If so, was it worth waiting to you? Was it probably more special than any other sex? Where did u go for ur honeymoon? lol

My wife and I waited for our wedding night (OK, it was technically evening -- less than an hour after leaving the reception). The lack of guilt alone made it worth the wait. And yes, it was more special than other sex, if for no other reason than being able to take our time with no fear of getting caught. None of that would be a factor for a couple with no guilt issues, but since we were both brought up in the church it was easier to go along with our respective upbringings than to fight them.

I never married, but If I could turn back the clock and change the progression of events in my life, I would have waited!!! I think that would be the coolest! Those feelings of anticipation and the buildup of waiting for that special person. My dream would have been to have the ceremony and to skip the rest of it until we returned from the honeymoon. Running off to a tropical island, having a candle lit dinner, sharing some wine and intimate moments leading up to carrying my new wife across the threshold and then enjoying each other for hours on end. Sounds good to me!

My first wife asked me to do that for our relationship. Of course loving her, I agreed. Biggest regret of my life. She was terrible in bed. I remember on our honeymoon night, I was like, tell me this isn't how its going to be for the rest of my life? She wasn't a virgin either, so she had some experience. I am used to great sex and was floored as to how bad this was. It was one of the reasons that led to a divorce a few years later, although not the main reason.
Not to make it sound cheap, but spouses are like cars, you have to test drive them!
Second wife was great in bed. She was just a *******.

no but I wish I had. I had very poor judgment as a kid so my husband was anything but my first. I look back at it now and just wish I had waited for him. let alone our wedding night.
