I haven't use my points often, so i want to use some up! I know it's a waste but I'm bored. Everyday, i will give u a question! It will be about either animals, nature, food, things that go, human body, or everyday people & things! So get prepare to answer them and get 10 points!

There is a maximum diameter that can pass through the "birth canal" of the bird, turtle, etc.

That controls the minor axis size of the egg.
By being "egg-shaped" there can be more volume to the egg without increasing the critical dimension.

Nothing in the natural world is supposedly perfectly round.
Probably the shape of the egg is the easiest to for the hen's muscles to contract and expel.

1) because it would probally hurt the chicken comeing out

First of all, it would hurt more coming out if it weren't tapered a little bit.
Also, a curled up chicken isn't perfectly round, so they fit better in a non-roung egg.
