very tough question.
There are many young and middle-aged men with certain medical conditions who can't live on their own, so it's not that.
There are other quite elderly men who also can't live on their own.
Not all men are married and not all men have fathered children.
So I guess we have to go with the old standby - males aged 18 or older. Even though 14-year-olds can be more "mature" than many 30-year-olds.

The sense to realize that a man can have many so-called "feminine" traits and still be...a man. For example, he can be kind, patient, sensitive, loving, demonstrate affection, love kids, cook, clean house, cry. None of those things is unmanly.
Being a "man" means accepting responsibility and not acting childish; he doesn't have to always be solving problems, or doing things.
Just an all-around fine human being!

His mine of course, some guys feel because they are working for their own money, they have a little hair on their face, their voice change into a more mature voice and there are so many other things that happen to them they feel they are a man, but it takes the mind of a man to be a man.

I think this is a subjective question.
To some people it is a man who is the bread winner.
To some it is a man who does all the 'guy' things and love sports.
To some it is a man who is a rocker, or a motorcycle mania, or a lover of the finer things in life.
The important thing is - what ever you think makes a man 'a man' does. Just plain and simple.

your a man by definition given the fact you have of genitals even if your gay. If you mean prowess the size apparently doesn't matter (possible lie by women who's partner have little *****'s) If you mean how good a fighter you are well they is always someone that's wants it more (not bigger) I hit a builder road rage he was massive I help him back to his car I thought he was going to kill me. Thems the breaks

"He.....He look-ah like a man." -Miss Swan (MAD TV)
Really the only rule to be a man is you gotta have a penis.
But if you want to be a "MANLY MAN". You gotta be a rough, tough, barrel-chested, son-of-a-b*tch, who doesn't take no gruff from anyone or anything........and you gotta know how to spit, fish, and drive a car really fast.

Not always talking about how much of a man he is. He doesn't always have to protect his male ego.
