Depends on your definition of 'soul'. Yes, any living thing has a soul, that's a definition of life. But most are mortal, and die with the creature.
There was an experiment in which a leaf was taken from a tree, moved seven miles away, and attached to measuring equipment. Then the tree was shocked with electricity. Just a complicated set of atoms. If some find that answer disheartening then, well, go on believing whatever you want.

Biomachinery is wonderfully complicated, but when it comes down to it, that's all it is. Souls are just human inventions to attempt to explain consciousness and give comfort that there is an afterlife.

Whether there is anything called "soul" or not is debatable.

However if you consider that anything living has a soul, an alive specimen should be having a soul as it has life.
