My personal view? No - the government did not plan or execute the events that happened on 9/11. I don't think that there would be anything - political or monetary - that would motivate someone to murder thousands of their countrymen and women.

I do think they knew of it - or a portion of it - ahead of time. We are supposed to be the greatest power on the earth. And we are supposed to have the greatest way of gathering information. I think they knew about it, and knew more than they are saying. But they will never admit it because that would open them all up to personal lawsuits, as well as criminal prosecutions stemming from the events. They knew, and did nothing to stop it. They need to be held accountable for it, and it angers me that they never will be.

there a lot of conmpiracy theories out there . the reason there all called conspiracy is because they are not true and only crack heads think they are . ( that is my definition anyway ) after you watch loose change recommended by the previous poster be sure to check out the conspiracy of bill cosby's sweater or the moon landing being fake . there is a movie out there called screw loose change that i have not watched yet but should be interesting . to proove how the the buildings collapsed it is all in their very unique construction that has not been done before . check out " wtc the anatomy of their collapse "

i will also add this movie loose change suggests that all the cell phone calls from the passengers are fake , but then never tells where he thinks the passengers were taken to , i guess they are at some island drinking pina colada's . this is a punch in the face for the family's that suffered from a loss .

loose change also suggested that there were missles shot from the planes that hit the WTC

also suggested that the bin laden tape was fake were he took blame for it , but forgot to mention the other tapes that were released

he completely ignored the official story of flight 77 and how it hit the building

and last but not least he suggested that all of these was setup to blame it on laden , but why wouldn't they blame it on hussein and make all this war a little more justified .

the bottom line is from any event in time if you take selective facts and quotes and make it look like anything happened , i truly wish someone that has no knowledge on the subject would make a doc. straight down the middle

Why did the FBI confiscate the video from the hotel by the Pentagon (within 3 minutes) and why to this day has it not been released along with the other surveillance video from the gas station across from the Pentagon and the cameras that were on the Pentagon itself.........it cant be for national security reasons, that argument does not hold water cause all of America seen the twin towers falling, so why would it matter if we saw this in full video not just 5 still frames (like whats been released so far).What the hell are they hiding?

Look around on the internet for a video called "Loose Change" - it consists of a large amount of VERY compellign evidence that the government planned it. It touches on many topics of that day.

Why? Well considering the number of insurance policies taken out and stock deals done just before the planes hit, I would say one reason is to cash in. The second reason is in order for the government to gain more power of it's people. Patriot Act anyone?

I believe that they lied about something....since they won't give us straight answers, I'm left to my own conclusions, and a government that keeps secrets is a government that is hiding incompetence.

If they didn't have something to do with it...where is Osama, why haven't they found him, why aren't they even looking? If they didn't do it, why did the Pentagon lie to the 9/11 Commission?

I don't know if they did it or not, but I don't believe the story they are telling us. If they don't have anything to hide, then why are they hiding things?

No I really don't. What I do believe is that another government knew exactly what Al Quaida was planning, but reported it to our government in a very vague way. Yes our government had VAGUE information. It didn't know the whens & wheres of it.
It was reported in a sort of routine every day way.
I believe another government all together, knew about it and deliberately thought it in their best interest to keep it pretty hush because it would benefit them That is what I truely believe.

hell no! I do believe that the CLINTON admisitration overlooked a LOT, and the terrorists that carried out 9/11 were HOPING and PRAYING that Al Gore would have gotten into office. I mean, seriously, look where the terrorists packed up from...MIAMI-DADE, BROWARD, and WEST PALM BEACH COUNTIES in FLORIDA!!!!! And where did we have all the recounts for the 2000 election?! The "Official Story" of 9/11 is the REAL conspiracy theory. There is no doubt that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were orchestrated by the criminal elite of the U.S Government. Also, there is no evidence that suggests that the official story is true. The FACTS all lead to the TRUTH and that’s what I'm trying to give you.

Just a U.S example of false flag terrorism as pretext to further the political interests of the U.S Government.

(Signed by G.W Bush to specifically back off FBI/CIA off Al Qaeda

3. WTC7 COLLAPSE:

(The building that was 300 feet away from the twin towers that mysteriously collapsed onto itself on 9/11. There were buildings closer to WTC twin towers that were damaged much more severely that stand to this day. It was not hit by any aircraft.

4. OPERATION NORTHERN VIGILANCE AND ABLE DANGER:

It just so happens that there were drills ON 9/11 that were carried out by NORAD that simulated planes going into WTC towers and the Pentagon…(There were also drills in London during the 7/7 bombings simulating the same exact event) Coincidence? I think not. This drill also incorporated fake “blips” on the radar screen to indicate the simulated highjacked planes. With this drill going on there were 22 suspicious dots that NORAD could not distinguish from being real or fake. This “well timed” drill confused NORAD.

5. OSAMA BIN LADEN “CONFESSION” TAPE:

This is the only proof Osama was behind the attacks and it obvious the video was manufactured propaganda. For one, even though the video is grainy and of low quality, it’s obviously not Bin Laden. In the video he is writing something on a notepad with his RIGHT hand. Bin Laden is LEFT handed. A gold ring is also visible on his ring finger. Gold jewelry is forbidden for religious reasons.

Osama also said that he never attacked us. He said that it would have been against his religion to attack a group of people unprovoked.

OFFICAL STORY: Fire from within the WTC buildings weakened the steel within the structure causing it to collapse...No building with a steel frame structure ever fell because of fire… Not to mention lease owner of the WTC complex Larry Silverstein said himself that he "pulled" the building...A common demolition term for "demolish".

It takes weeks and weeks to plan a demolition. I guess Silverstein had a demolition team go into WTC7, Analyze the structure, unpack the explosives, set up the charges, and demolish it in about 8 hours. All during the biggest national crisis this generation has seen.

How about all the witness testimony saying they have heard and felt explosions within the WTC towers?

why i believe the us govt planned 9/11:

the jets that automatically scramble when any plane leaves its flightpath can only be stopped by highlevel intervention - very close to the top - the president - the jets were much closer to ny than the passenger planes - that is complete proof

there was no plane in pennsylvania or at the pentagon - you cannot have a plane crash without there being plane bits lying around - it has never happened, it will never happen - that is proof of a plot to mislead

silverstein 'pulled' the third building on 9/11 - it takes weeks to set up a building for demolition - that is complete proof

[the buildings were a financial white-elephant for silverstein - he increased the insurance cover on the buildings - that the third building was dangerously damaged was a lie: other buildings closer to the twin towers were not damaged dangerously]

many people heard, and reported on tv, explosions - people saw explosions all the way down the buildings in a second or two - the pyroclastic flow of the dustclouds indicated explosion heat

the buildings were designed to withstand multiple simultaneous planecrashes - a spiderweb construction so that a plane is simply absorbed in the building

the building had 47 steel beams right through the building - which would be still standing if there had been a pancake - can be seen neatly cut on the trucks - not melted

the official report that terrifically high temperatures melted the steel beams was false: firemen in the building reported fires nearly out, people can be seen standing holding on to steel things

the time for the fall of the buildings was 9 seconds - pure gravity speed - the pancake theory would require longer time, as each floor resisted and failed, resisted and failed

the fbi were able to go to the flight school immediately - didnt have to spend any time hunting down the flight school
