What is something that you did or said that forever changed your marriage?

The one thing I wish I had done - at the time - was to not go through with my wedding on the day we got married. I should have trusted my gut instincts and waited at least a year.

So far nothing -- love the hubby! He is a great guy. Been married nearly 1 year, been together for a total of 3 years.

Yep, the marriage itself. I was way to young, and doing it for all of the wrong reasons. Knowing this has begun to affect my marriage, and when it ends, it will have forever changed my life and his.

I would change the yelling that I did the first 3 years of my marrige.....but we are on year 7 now!

I would have done a better job of protecting my own emotions. I allowed my husband to become co-dependent on me and our lives soon began a downward spiral. If I had called him on it earlier, a lot of pain and sadness would have been spared from us both.
