no its not because lots of people try to impress when they meet new people therfore there not being themselves

Not really. First impressions can be wrong, decieving, or an illusion. When you get to know a person is when you really get the true impression of what they are like.

no, sometimes the first impression is the WORST impression, and therefore no OTHER impressions will be made available!

It was determined that once you meet someone you automatically know how far and what you will do with that person. So...........the first impression is the one that counts.
