Sorry, not live cd, but a Live Floppy Disk

how can i get win 95.
this computer wasnt designed for that, but it will work.

Linux is too large to fit on a floppy. A floppy holds about 1.44MB and the Linux is about as large as Windows XP (1.5GB). You can use this link to access Ubuntu Linux and you can get a free CD.

I agree with everyone else. A floppy drive is too small to hold any version of Linux. The smallest version of Linux that I know of is Damn Small Linux (DSL), which is roughly 50MB. You can fit DSL on to a jump drive with no problems. You can even boot from the jump drive. If you are interested DSL can be downloaded from Betanews at:

Hey, wht d u mean by Live CD , GUI????
if u juz hav n floppy drive, i'm sorry u wont b able to hav it with GUI. but hey, there's linux version that's havin a Graphical web browser.
try dat n there's many other command line linux versions. dont wory abt da other answers.

Maybe a terminal (command line) only version but not one with a GUI. A floppy holds 1.44MB, you honestly think a GUI could fit on that. Keep dreaming.

This is the smallest GUI based distro of Linux that I know of, http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/ and it's 50MB.
