Good point!
Another good one: Its amazing how people who hate Arabs and therefore support Israel are so stupid with no decent answers, no proper argument, and actually no brains!!
Good to know what kind of people are behind our government! ;)
Rats with guns and racists whose source of information is Hollywood (not even CNN...lol)!!
Yahoo should allow the asker to delete stupid answers!

What nonesense! How about mentioning how many billions of dollars are given to the Muslim countries, many of which used the money against Israel and the U.S.? How clearly one-sided and blindly prejudicial you are.
Let me remind you and others how the current situation began 3 weeks ago:
BUT FOR Hezbollah going on Israeli soil, killing 8 and kidnapping 2 Israeli soldiers, Israel would not be on the offensive to destory Hezbollah. This is not a war on Lebanon. It is a war on Hezbollah and its backers (Syria and Iran). Since the Lebanese army that numbers about 150,000 soldiers is unwilling and/or unable to remove Hezbollah's 5,000 terrorists, Israel will.
Israel wants peace and recognition of its existence. The Muslim extremists, including Syria and Iran regimes want Israel wiped off the face of the earth, and have repeatedly said so. Israel has absolutely no interest in claiming Lebanon, or any other Arab country.
I don't know about you, but when you hear a leader of a regime (Iran) inciting hate and claiming his intentions, he and his regime must be taken out (if the world would have done so with Hitler, there would not have been a Holocaust or WWII).
It is time for the Muslim world to take some accountability and handle its exterme element that is numbered in the millions of people.
For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?
This is a grave and dangerous situation, but it has to and will be dealt with. Whether by global support or only by Israel. Israel has no choice but to destroy Hezbollah.
Deal with Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and Iran, and you shall have peace in the Middle East. The extremist element of Islam MUST BE and WILL BE dealt with. So it is written, so it shall be.

no country ever gave anything without intending to get more back - usa 'gives' LOANS - 80% of which are spent in usa - and which are paid back, many times the loan - the net effect is the third world giving the first world $200 billion a year
ie, the third world giving foreign aid to the first world
the usa is giving nothing - the usa is extracting $200 billion a year from eg africa, which has an economy [after 5 centuries of being plundered for slaves and everything else of value] smaller than that of italy
read lords of poverty, confessions of an economic hitman, the shark and the sardines, quotes of us general smedley butler

Yes, I am well aware of the money the USA has given israel over the years. Remember though, that averages less than 2 billion dollars a year, and we give that much to Jordan, Egypt, and Pakistan combined.

Your figures seem low. As for the other things, you have to remember that the US press coverage is 180 degrees apart from the coverage seen in the Middle East. For American tax payers, there is a disconnect between the funding and the effects the funding is having.

The budget for iraq for 2007 is 84 billion. By comparison that doesn't seem so much to give Isreal the same amount over 57 years.

People can not give a decent answer because:
- they are not decent people
- they are stupid (aka republican)
- they are zionists (ok, so that's to be expected)
- they don't know the definition of terrorism or mass murder (if they are terrorists then.. stealing land = zionism, defending it = terrorism).
- Because you can't give any other decent answer but to condemn, and since they don't want to do that, they just make stupid comments.
At least it seems people understand why USA is also held responsible, when Israel does something wrong.

At least Israel has the balls to do what America seems incapable of doing, that is killing terrorists. There will be no peace in the Middle East (or the world, for that matter) until each and every terrorist is exterminated.
What's with all you terrorist apologists, anyway???

Gee...you mean Israel uses ALL of the money for ONLY bad things. That's terrible. I hereby renounce my religion and my government and will immediately begin a hunger strike.
(While I'm at it, I think I'll become gay and ask my wife to have an abortion, too!)
