yes very illegal trust me I know i have got in trouble for shooting frozen paint balls. PEACE OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Why would you want to freeze paintballs....won't that get someone seriously hurt or even killed? If it is not illegal, maybe it should be.

they wouldnt shoot correctly, because the paint would freeze onto one side of the ball and would shoot horribly.
