It depends! If you had it published and it was clearly stated that you will be paid then...yes! However, there are some sites and or publishers that will use your story and not compensate. I would be more concerned about copyrights. You should call the publisher of the book and ask questions.

Some books are published with muliple stories. Each author usually gets a one time fee for their story. How did your story end up in a book in the first place? That may help us give you a more precise answer to your question.

If you wrote the story and didn't sell it, then you should be compensated. If you agreed to the sale to someone else, then it may no longer be yours. Some people pay to have their work printed otherwise they would never get published. Seek legal advice.

im pretty sure you get paid a writing portion fee and a bonus percentage for book sales.. im not sure, you should talk to the publishers, or whoever is in charge dear.

It all depends on what the contract said. Maybe you are entitled only to free copies, maybe to a fee.

was it a competion u won. if so then no u dont get paid other wise u shuld get paid
