november I think, but it's coming out for $600 so u might want to hold off on buying it tilll the price drops a little

November 17th for worldwide launch.
Total of around 2.2mil consoles will be available around the world.
Price in the US will be $499 for the 20gb version and $599 for the 60gb.
Price will NOT drop for at least a year if not more.
Stock will be sparse so do not expect to walk into a store on release day, pre-order is the only way to get one.
Its cheap!!! Thats right, cHEAP!. For a 360 with the same features it will cost you over $900. And even then its not true HD. The PS3 will be more powerful, have more capacity and is more than a console. If you just want gamest hen get a 360 or even a wii, if you want the movies, media, internet and more then the PS3 is the way.
