Hesbollah are terroists and are supporting return of Israel to a Pallestine nation. Israel has vowed to never give up their nation.Study history and you will read about Jewish suffering over thousands of years and how God promised their return to Israel. The USA believes in defending their nation and so does Israel.

Hezbollah - like several of the Arab nations - has vowed publicly to destroy the state of Israel. For the past few years, the Israeli government has been asking the Lebanese government to fulfill a promise to stop Hezbollah launching rocket attacks on Israel from the Lebanon/Israel border. But the Lebanese government is weak and ignored the request. Then, in July, Hezbollah stepped up their attacks and kidnapped several Israeli soldiers. In addition, Hezbollah started increasing the number of rocket attacks on Northern Israel. Now Israel is trying to get rid of Hezbollah once and for all so that it's people are no longer under attack.

Basically, the actions of Hezbollah were followed by Israeli reaction, so the fighting is actually between the Israeli army and the Hizbollah. So then, if each country outlaws fanatic Islamists and fanatic pro US imperialism, then both countries can live in peace, build subways from there to Cyprus, Greece, Turkey etc. (like there is from Britain and France & between Britain to Belgium). That way, every one who is NOT full of hate towards others would be happy.

Israel was attacked (as usual) and trying to defend their country. Hezbollah ignited this war by entering Israel and kidnapping and killing Israeli soliders, for no apparent reason, just to do what they do best-kill and fight, as all terrorists do. They are supported by the other Arab nations, and funded partly by Al-Qaeda (the same people who attacked our countries).

And btw, as someone above wrote, the reason why there are many more Lebanese civilians killed is because the terrorists hide amongst them making it extremely difficult for the Israelis to target. Hezbollah don't care about lives, the complete opposite to the Israelies. Plus, trust me, it's not for the lack of Hezbollah trying, that there haven't been many mroe Israeli casualites. It's a miracle that not many more Israeli civilians haven't been killed considering the amount of missiles being fired into their towns.

Go Israel! They're not just defending themeslves, they're making the world a safer place for us all...trying to eliminate the terrorists one by one.

Imagine they are using Hezbollah as an excuse to go after Iran and Syria.

900+ lebanese dead already
50+ Israeli dead. 30+ soldiers and the rest civilians.

Now you do the math.

Does this make sense?

warring religious factions, invaded by british empire, brits leave after WW2 and hastily draw up some borders, conflict since, 1982 Israel invade, very messy, they invade again in the 90's both times the UN force that is there does **** to stop it.

Finally got pissed off with Hezbollah baically running lebanon and shooting rockets at them so they try to wipe the buggers out.

Well done Israel, I like the cut of your jib

Imagine the state of Israel as a George Bush's mad rottweiler and Hizbollah as the little kid who poked it with a stick.

Now imagine if the dog attacks the kid and everybody just watches instead of trying to stop the dog. Soon the dog will start biting other little kids.
