Why are there so many ridiculously inane questions on Yahoo! Answers?

Supposedly there are no stupid questions just stupid answers but yikes! Are these kids, necks, holier than thou's just bored? Is it just the sad state of the U.S. that we can't talk to each other but we can ask these things anonomously? Is it competition for worthless points? I understand that this question itself is being hypocritical but someimes you have to lie down with dogs to get up with fleas.

you took the question right out of my mouth. I have been reading the questions people post for the past couple of days and I can honestly say that it scares me to know that these people are walking around with me in society. At first I thought this site was a place I could come to to ask questions and get an answer from someone with a knowledgable backgroung, and now I realize its just a big game with a bunch of idiots playing. GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!! AND STOP BREEDING!!!! We dont need more of you running around.

I can't believe the number of idiot questions on here. I would be embarrassed to ask some of these questions. The ols saying,"there are not dumb questions...just unasked ones". is a load of bull**** when referred to in here. I would think that most of these type of questions are coming from youths. But they are primarily adults. How lame for our society.

The world is full of ridiculously inane people, unfortunately many of them seem to have managed to get on the internet and ruin it for the rest of us.

One can only think that it is the disgusting standard of education. Many of the questions are written so badly that they are virtually unreadable even though there is a spell check provided.

because there are so many people, with diffirent ideas, they do get a bit crazy sometimes though i see your point.
