Sweating is one way. The eccrine glands are sweat glands that respond primarily to elevated body temperatures due to environmental heat or physical exercise. These glands are common in the forehead, neck, and back, where they produce profuse sweating on hot days and during physical exertion.
According to my Human Anatomy and Physiology book though,
"the primary means of body heat loss is radiation, by which heat in the form of infrared heat rays, escapes from warmer surfaces to cooler surroundings."

I believe it's sweating. You loose most from your head, hands and feet. So if cover those three parts of your body, you will retain heat better.
