it really depends on what you are looking for or asking!
however i will address the question as which is best for scenery
according to your likes or dislikes my answer would be if you are looking for unspoilt vista's scotland has a lot going for it on the west coast especialy on the western isles as for fresh air ( the sort that really wakes you up and makes you feel alive ) again the west coast as it comes directly from the atlantic( if it's an onshore wind),,, then there are the bens and glens for breathtaking scenery and the colours of the heather in the various seasons also if you're a walker there is no law of trespass in scotland ( just be courteous and remember the countryside rules),,the people tend to be friendlier also

They both have strong points. I love England for the footie team and its history but I love Scotland for the scenic countryside and of course Porridge!
