Once someone has done you wrong and hurt you why would you find it easy to trust them again? like the unknown person said before me wouldn't you feel betrayed??

Imagine you had a friend and you told him a deep secret and the next thing you know it's all around school/or work ...How would you feel? and would you forgive him so easy?

Because even with the other person's forgiveness they aren't willing to in turn forgive themselves.

People are wired where they think they have to do something to "make up" for a mistake, whereas forgiveness is a gift from the offended party, and relieves any need for repayment.

Yet, because we feel we should "do" something to erase the bad deed, we continue to wallow in guilt and shame if the grievance is such that we don't see a way it can be repaid.

Because accepting forgiveness also mean admitting guilt, even to themselves, which may be too much to handle. We can usually justify the bad things we do, even if only to ourselves.

Accepting forgiveness means admitting to ourselves that we were wrong.

Because they feel so guilty that they can't forgive themselves. They don't feel like they deserve the other person's forgiveness, that would only make them more guilty. Guilt isn't a good feeling.

That's why I never am.

It's hard for ppl to admit their wrong and humble themselves by asking for forgiveness. It's just human-nature

because of vanity. i hate vanity, pride! people really ruind friendships by being vanitous! i forgive very quickly someone, i think there's no sense being upset and i'm both happy when someone forgives me, and i apologise
