The only way they can do that is if your a manager and considered an exempt employee...but if youre a manager and making only minimum wage then shame on you. If youre not a manager and you are working all of those hours and not getting paid for them then you need to complain to the EEOC, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and let them know what is happening.
Good luck.

As an exempt worker you already know that your artwork hours are no longer tied to your salary at as quickly as, and which you're able to be somewhat expected to artwork greater desirable than the popular 40 a week once you start up the interest. nonetheless, in case you think of your corporation is abusing your prestige evaluate speaking with you HR branch, be certain in spite of if or no longer your place is assessed properly, and communicate bonus repayment concepts. in any different case, that's recommended to contemplate a clean corporation.

Its the new American way. we seem to be moving back to the age of slave labor as long as it "creates jobs" or is "good for the economy". Most of the job being created are low paying slave labor jobs that only serve to make the wealthy wealthier. Our government doe snot care for they are getting kick backs.....
