Funerals are for undertakers not the family of the deceased. Instead of wasting loads of money for a few hours of viewing it is better to get toasted and let the family enjoy the money doing something joy-full. They will have the good memories You have given them and not the expense of seeing you in a 100 dollar box that cost about 5,000 or more. They can take the ashes with them or let the remains be disposed of by the crematory. You soul is gone and the carcass remaining is meaningless. Your deeds while alive last longer than the image of You in a box.

i've told my friends this. i'd like the song 'Money' by PInk Floyd to play at my funeral. because by that time, i'll be so rich, it'll be fitting. and everyone will get a laugh out of it. as gifts for coming to my funeral i'll give everyone a goodie bag kind of like the ones you'd find at celebrity lounges filled with all the latest fashion and technology trends. look for me on the cover of fortune in 5 years.

Wow I've never thought of that before! I guess Amazing Grace, Celtic Laud, I Want To Walk as a Child of The Light, you know church songs. I guess I don't care that much cause I'll be dead at my funeral. lol

Hmmm ,why should I care when I won't hear it?

Always by Bon Jovi... just cause it is my favorite... Or Mariah Carrey and Boys2Men, with that sad song that starts with " Sorry, I never told you what I wanted to say.... And I know you're shining down on me from Heaven like so many friends we've lost along the way..." Whatever it's name was... but it is gonna really depress whoever is attending :(...

I've told my friends, Arcade Fire's "Rebellion (Lies)" must be played at my funeral. I can't stand "Amazing Grace" and swore I'd haunt my mother from the grave if it's played.
