How can we thank Israel enough?

For making the West a certain target of all the future 'terrorists' that they are creating/have created in the Arab/Muslim world? And thanks to GWB as well.

I agree--I think we should show our everlasting gratitude to Israel.

Cancel all aid of any kind, including schoolchildren's donations to Iraeli charities. At least SOME of the chest-beating and warmongering would have to stop if all the money, bombs, and encouragement was shut off asap.

I can't understand how Israel views itself as a first world country when it is the largest receiver of aid in the world.

Of course. Because no civilian population has ever been attacked in the history of the world until the past few decades.

We've always had terrorists. They used to be called barbarians, bandits, pirates, or just plain criminals. But terrorist has a better emotional impact, so that's the latest marketing phrase.

The US gets attacked by people because we have made it our mission to get involved in every major skirmish in the past half-century, and to hold ourselves out as the most powerful nation in the world. We have military bases all over the world, and use military force whenever we want to get our way. We've brokered arms deals with Iraq, Iran, Libya, Saudi Arabia (and dozens of other countries we now call terrorists) for decades. We attacked and invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, and toppled their current governments (which we previously financed) because we didn't like them any more. And we hold ourselves to be morally superior because the majority of Americans follow a religion (Christianity) that hasn't had an international Inquisition in hundreds of years.

And you think Israel is why those fanatics keep wanting to attack us?

you got it!!! that's the ONLY reason for terrorism.
it's political terrorism and not a holy war like some idiots think it is!!
if Israel stops treating the Palestinians like shiit and acknowledge their rights of having a decent life. most terrorism will end right then.
the reason why 9/11 happened is to punish the US government for its support to the Israeli crimes.
