I've asked this at the wrong category in Computers-Other.

If you have one, tell me about your experience with it thus so far. I'm getting one next month. What's the best monitor or system to get like Tyger for Macintosh? And is it worth it?

First, the price is up there, but it really depends on what you are going to use it for. For Coomputer Science it is second to none as there are two native (and most popular OS's) capable of being run at the same time. Next there is Awesom support for apple products both online and over the phone. The hardware is excellently designed, and the MacOSX comes with loads of bundled software. I am Apple certified as well as toshiba and compaq, and A+, by FAR the apple is the best wholy designed system, hardware, software and support.

I have to first start out by saying that the Mac is NOT overpriced. It's expensive because you get more bang for you buck. I have a MacBook Pro, and so far it has been very great! I LOVE it, and I would never choose a PC over it. (Come to think of it, I would never choose a PC over ANY Mac...lol) Tiger comes installed on it already. It's ready to use right out of the box. Getting a Mac is very much worth it; especially now that you can run Windows XP on it.
