which order do you light the candles in treasure hunters challenge 7?

I found the matches but can't get all the candles lit, how do I do it? I numbered them 1-4 going down from the first column on the left 5-8 2nd column etc. and know which each lights, but not how to keep them all lit .Thanks for any help

If you will notice, when you light a candle all of the adjacent ones will light as well. (Unless they are already lit in which case they will go out.) To light them all together you need to go around the perimeter and light every third one. (There will only be 4 candles to light if done right.) All around the outside. The way you have them numbered is confusing but start with 9,15, 8, 2.

Remember that the candles light the candle plus any candle that is directly adjacent to it. Such as candle 1 will also light candle 2 and 5. Candle 2 will light candle 1, 3, and 6. However, if candle 2 is lite then it will be unlite while lighting the others.

To light all of the candles, you only need to click four of them:

You'll want to click those marked with "x" in the image above and don't click those marked with "o" (they aren't actually marked like this in the game). After those four clicks, all your candles will be lit and you'll hear a creaky door open.
