when i save my game it comes up checking the memory card but it wont load tried it with other games and their fine grrrrrrr!

there is ether a problem with the memory card or the game
and whats wrong with a Ps1 there's tons of brilliant games for it such as final fantasy 7 and i don't see any even above the lines of fairly decent games for the PsP and most ps2's I've seen break if you so much as open the disk drive as for ps3's who's gona have the money to buy them for the next 4 years

try buyin a new(ish) memory card or copy of the game...
ignore everyone who said get an upgrade cuz PS1 was the best sony console... PSP games arent good so far and PS3s are going to cost like £400. (actually, more i think)

because in your memory card you a limited space and u have to delete some thing to save other stuff
wat are you doing with a ps1 any way

time for an upgrade, you can take it to game stop and trade it in for a discount on a newer PS2 or store credit and you can trade in your games too.
