No! Don't do that as it'll get infected and heal slower than it would if you just leave it alone.
Be careful the next time.
Peace.

No no no; Don't pop it! Why do people say yes?? The blister is protecting the wound under from getting infected; and also the moist in the blister is keeping the burnt area moist so there will be less of a scar. Just clean the whole blister and wrap some sterile/clean textile around. Let the blister alone until it heals by itself. If it burns, wrap a cloth with cold water around and change with new water when it gets warm.

1. Clean the skin around the blister.
2. Place a doughnut-shaped piece of moleskin over the blister. This will keep pressure off it.
3. Try to avoid popping the blister unless it's in an especially awkward place, such as the bottom of your foot. The blister provides a sterile environment for the skin underneath. Breaking it makes the area more susceptible to infection.
4. If you need to pop the blister, use sterile implements, puncture it in a few places at its base and drain the fluid.
5. If you need to puncture it or if it breaks on its own, clean the area with soap and water or Betadine.
6. Avoid peeling any skin off the blister; this can lead to an infection and delay healing.
7. Cover the exposed blister with a thin layer of antibiotic ointment and dry sterile gauze.
8. Change the gauze regularly and watch for signs of infection, such as pus or redness.
Warning:
If the infection from a blister doesn't clear up quickly, your doctor may want to prescribe antibiotics.

Slide a sterilized needle into the underside of the blister. You sterilized the needle by holding it over a flame for 1 minute [match, lighter or ?] - NEVER on the top of the blister. Then put some antibiotic ointment onto a bandaid and place the bandaid over the burn.

NO....let your body heal itself properly...keep your hands off. Leave it alone because the skin over the fluid is a natural and very effective barrier to infection; but if you MUST pop it in order to walk, wash the area and your hands first with soap and water and dry thoroughly with a clean towel, then sanitize a needle in alcohol or bleach. Slide the needle just through the skin over the fluid, and gently express the fluid into gauze or tissues, then wash the area again, and cover it with a thin layer of antibiotic ointment and a bandage, and keep it very clean. Change the bandage once or twice a day and watch for redness, swelling, pain or excessive warmth, which would indicate infection.

The blister is a natural bandage. Leave it alone and it'll heal much faster.

NO! that's a good way to get it infected. Cover it, and let it "pop" on it's own. If it breaks, cover the new skin with anitbiotic ointment and a bandaid.

just prick it slightly, don't pull off the top, let the skin beneath toughen up a bit....in a few days, then you might want to put some neosporin and a bandaid on it.
