It all matters are you needs. Do you have enough pitching to win the league without Oswalt? Keep in mind that if you don't have a good pitching staff your strike- out numbers will decrease, era, wins, and whip will go up. If you need a second baseman and power I have no problem with this deal on a value standpoint. But, you're losing a pitcher that you can't probaly can't replace. Have the owner throw in another good pitcher before you trade Oswalt.

It depends on need. I favor the Utley side of the trade. Oswalt's K rate has been in decline for the last couple of seasons. Even if it wasn't I'd still deal him for Utley. If you have Utley, I wouldn't do it one for one. If you have another outstanding 2B, trading Utley for pitching is an option, but I'd target someone like Liriano or Santana.

Oswalt has been sucking, and Utley is on a tear. Looks like a good trade for you, if your giving up Oswalt.

Utley is the #1 2nd baseman. Oswalt isn't the pitcher he has been in the past and suffers extremely from the Astros inability to hit. Keep Utley, or trade for him.
