Install an additional hard drive, set to Slave in BIOS. This is cheaper than a USB hard drive, but it requires that you actually do work, such as take the side panel off your box and plug the hard drive in. If you're too lazy and have the money to blow, get yourself a USB hard drive.

Have a second hard drive installed....... you can pick up an 80GB one pretty cheap (around £50 or less) now, and transfer the files onto there.... or get a CDRW/DVD drive (if your computer isn't already fitted with one)..... I picked up a SONY one for £20 earlier in the week to start my PC building project off.... then buy a bulk pack of blank CD's... you can pick up a stack of 100 of them for less than £20 (if in the UK, check out Jungle.com).. then just burn the music files onto the disks.

Create a partition and transfer all of your music files. This will free up the memory without losing the files.

Burn all the info on a disc then delete it off the computer. Then when you want to listen to it just pop it in the cd drive.
