I love him verry much and he loves me too. But my family doesn't agree. They say that black boys want only sex. I can't choose betwen my family and my boyfriend because I love both.

If he really loved you, he would never allow you to be in a position where you have to choose him or your family. Instead, he would do everything he could to win your parents over. Family is the most important thing.
I let my black boyfriend come in between myself and my parents. Where am I now? Living with my parents. My boyfriend, who loved me so much, isolated me from my family and my friends slowly and completely, cleaned out my bank account, got me pregnant, and at ten weeks threw me down a flight of stairs after beating me up.
Where is he? County jail for a 180 day sentence before he can be released into a 52 week long anger management course and 3 years of formal probation.
I honestly do not believe that all black men are like my guy was, but all I have to say is that your family cares about you and your best interest. Your older relatives are going to see more than you do.
When my mom expressed concerns to me I wouldn't even hear them because I was sure that she just didn't want to see me, he perfect angel with a black man and I accused her of being racist.
Boy do I feel like a fool! I have never been more grateful of my mother's forgiveness.
Listen carefully to some of the things your family says about your guy, and spend time with your guy around them. If he doesn't want to spend time with you and your family together, he's not the right guy anyway!

Listen to your heart. Love is a gamble. We always think and hope that the person we are attracted to is not going to hurt us, take advantage of us and that we can trust and depend on them. Sometimes that is not the case and if we are lucky we find our soul mate.
You can do one of two things. You and and your boyfreind can explore your feelings and engage in a relationship and see where it goes. If your family loves you they will eventually accept your decision and respect your relationship with this guy. If it doesn't work out, at least you will know you both tried.
You could break it off with your boyfriend, so to keep peace in the family. Your family will be happy, they will stop giving you a hard time about it and you wont get hurt if it doesn't work out, but if you choose to do what others want and not what you want, then you'll never know if it would have worked out and you may regret it.

You have to live your own life and follow your heart, even if that means disappointing those you love. If they truly love you then they will learn to love him, too. By the way, if they only want the a$$, then why do some have a wife and kids? You have to do what is right for you and only you, Hon.

Black people r juss like white people sometimes.
Black men don't only want sex, they sometimes want a relationship.Tell ur family how he treats u and make u feel.If u truely love him i would care and stand up for him and ****.
Also, at the end of ur little speech say that u love him and ur family.

Are you old enough to be out on your won because if not listen to your family they honestly know best..race,religion,class, makes a big differance in how people get along..this is a fact of life..following your heart can only get you so far in life..there are other considerations...goood luck

That is the problem you should not put yourself in this position if you love him let him go there are just going to be more and bigger problems if you continue in this relationship,really love him enough to let him go!
