Only revolt Constitutionally possible is via elective process. Any other type is subject to deployment of US military. Insurrection is one of the very few conditions where the military can be deployed on US soil. This provision in the Constitution is designed to preclude the rise of a dictator or despot using the military for law enforcement and control--like in N. Korea.

No group can hope to defeat our military. The military is also sworn to uphold the Constitution--not any politician or anyone else. The only group possible of conducting an armed revolt is our military, and that isn't going to happen. Presidents are temporary; the military is permanent.

Want changes? Become an EFFECTIVE political activist. Learn what is Constitutional and even realistic for what the Courts will accept. "Reasonable" has nothing to do with it. That is a subjective opinion and interpretation. The Courts will reject anything proposed by legislation if it fails the Constitutionality test.

A lot of people run around screaming and will get no where. It's a waste. So educate yourself before acting. You'll do a lot better.

People are used to the lifestyle that they live right now. Some people will whine and complain, but when the rubber meets the road, there are many that will fight to maintain the integrity of the US. Make no mistake. Those that are willing to fight for our country are not limited to the US Military. Many are law abiding, gun toting, bleed red-white-and-blue tried and true Americans. These are the people you can count on to ensure the freedoms enjoyed by the majority. 9/11 united many people, and that was a limited attack on the US. If there was an invasion, many would come to defend America.

Besides, there is a revolt every 2, 4 and 6 years in the US. Its called Elections, its just peaceful in the US. Many other countries do not enjoy peaceful transitions of power from one government to another.

Any time you want a revolt you have to know your goals first. What are you revolting against? Do you have a clear list of things to fight FOR?

What military will support you? Where will you get arms and ammunition? Who will you target? Will you abide by legitimate rules of war or discard the conventions?

Calling for a revolt when you don't have any idea of what you are fighting about other than rhetoric is a dead endeavor. Calling for a revolt in a country where the OVERWHELMING majority are content with the way things are is also useless.

Americans can`t be bothered,I mean Vietnam demonstrations were dynamic for the climate at that time,I admire the people that go out there and make a statement, but now its different the government basically just dismisses it as people blowing some steam off they dont take it seriously a riot now would end up with people being seriousy hurt or killed and it wont deter the Administration from its policies,a revolt would be shut down pronto...no the only way we have a prayer is unfortunately VOTING.

Well, if the American police weren't so overpowering in every city and if the National Guard ( this is supposed to be the state militia our Constitution talks about) was working for it's citizens instead of being just another branch of the U.S. police. We might have a chance at restoring liberty and freedom to our once great nation.

As it is, we are out numbered, outgunned and since our government keeps us at each other's throats with the two party system, I highly doubt that we will ever have the needed unity to, free America.

On the upside, I did read where Haliburton is redesigning the U.S.flag. It's got HALIBURTON printed in each of the red stripes and the fifty stars are going to be replaced with fifty little swastikas.

Not very possible at all. Most people in the United States are too rich and too happy with their lives overall to revolt and ruin the USA.

People talk about revolt all the time on the Internet. Talk is cheap and bloodless behind the safety of anonymity the Internet provides

It is not possible. A multi-national corporation might have some success, but that would be counter-productive at this point.
If TV stopped working, that would help. Not really enough p!ssed off people. The real key is to kill the rich.
