$7.74 - $6.50 = $1.24

$1.24 / $6.50 = .1907692

.1907692 * 100% = 19%

You make about 19% more than him an hour.

Income = (hourly wage) · (# of hours worked)

Depending on the number of hours worked, your boyfriend could end up having a much higher income than you.

I think you meant to ask about the % difference in your hourly wage as compared to your boyfriend's hourly wage. Other's have already answered that question.

there is not any dating between earnings and happiness by any ability and on no account has been. A fellow who earns $a hundred,000 a year in a activity that he does not like is depressing and a discomfort to those around him. the comparable fellow earning basically $20,000 a year doing something he likes, say enjoying a banjo, could be happy as Larry and a delight to be around. on no account confuse earnings with happiness.

You make about 19% more than your boyfriend. I'd dump him for a guy who makes more.
