Military power.

Don't forget, we're a democratic government. And democracy is based on the principle of majority-rule, which is essentially "might makes right". There are more of us than you, and we have more power than you, so we get to make the decisions.

China and India are already interfering, just as the Soviet Union did, and the Third Reich, and the British Empire, and the Holy Roman Church, and Rome, and Ghengis Khan, every other major military power in its time.

Force makes the world go around. Sadly, that's still human nature.

History has shown that countries rise and fall in influence on the world and the other countries count on those in the lead to carry the bulk of the burden. It is easy for France, Russia and others to complain about how the US does things but they are happy we take the hard road and do something they can no longer do. Instead of helping Us hold down violence they stuff their pockets with bribes from Iran, like they did from Iraq, and say we are not doing things right. In the not too distant future we will be sitting back and letting India and China be the worlds policeman.

Yes to most of your questions, military, weapons, economy ! Also yes to China 'interfering' in future. Not sure about India, but I catch your drift!
America, and the UK are trying their best to look after their respective countries and their respective ideals, regardless of who is President or Prime Minister! If this calls for 'interfering ' they will continue to do so!
Ditto China, it would be very presumptuous, and more than a little stupid for any country to think that China would stand idly by if they thought that their way of living or ideals were about to change due to outside interference.
If or when this happens (as some one has already said) we can kiss our a** goodbye!!
Just a little point to add, what do you think the Chinese reaction would be to any terrorist threat!
Do you think they would react as violently as the USA/UK? Or do you think they would bomb any and all suspects out of existence?? I dont think they would be doing a lot of '***** footing' about, and they certainly wouldnt be thinking about the rest of the worlds feelings on the matter!
Hope this cheers you up a bit!

Exactly. G W Boosh enforces 'Democracy' on others, though he's a Republican! And when they 'Democratically' elect Hamas, he finds that unpalatable! Damned if they do, damned if they don't, eh, Georgie-Boy? America acts as a thug, prancing along the beach, kicking sand in the faces of those smaller and thiner than itself. The government is in the pocket of the mighty arms industry, which neccessitates a constant back-burner war, to keep the contract bucks flowing. JFK was a little too dove-like for them, so they blew his brains out.

America didn't "get the authority", it is just being a bully.
And yes, China is going to SO kick America's *** within the next 10 years. This MUST happen because they are both competing for the same resources and the same markets.
Trouble is, we all know what America will do about it, so we can all kiss our asses goodbye

Is China a democracy? Would you trust a communist government.
USA may have defeated the USSR but China will be a tough nut.
I'd back India. At least it's a democracy and the largest in the world at that.(For those unaware of it).

That sounds better like Ron Paul, than Robin Williams. and that i'm certain lots of people could want to say this to a international it incredibly is each better and better ungracious in the route of American information. yet in real looking words, isolationism has no longer been a genuine looking overseas coverage on account that TR changed into in workplace. it may lead on to such civil unrest international, that ultimately warfare could attain American soil. even with their ingratitude, the international needs American interference, and American needs to intrude with the intention to circumvent their issues from transforming into our issues at domicile.

We got the authority because we give millions and millions of dollars in foreign aid to these countries. And if we didn't give our tax dollars to all these countries, the liberals would really whine and cry. They whine all the time anyway.

I would love it if China got involved in Africa and put an end to some of the violence caused by regional warlords.

Good question. I have wondered about it for years. I wish we had not alleniated so many of our allies in the past 6 years, so that the U.S. didn't have to foot the bill for being the world police.
