Liquid or sheets, which one is better? And why? Any favorite brand?

Sheets are really good for static, liquid is for softness and fluffiness. I use both, usually pink Downy or some off brand unscented.

Not supposed to use fab softener on towels because they are less absorbant but if you don't have a Downy soft towel, why bother?

Baking soda in the wash cycle is great. It is a deodorizer, fab softener, and softens water to boost detergent performance.

Vinegar in the rinse cycle is also a good liquid fabric softener and it deodorizes, mild sanitizer too. It leaves a really clean sweet smell behind after the whang is gone (evaporates quickly from the heat of the dryer.)

For scent, I love Febreeze as a laundry additive. I pour into the wash load for really stinky laundry, perhaps in the Downy ball to hit it again when I rinse the load. And I usually spray onto wet clothes in the dryer before I turn it on...this is one reason why I sometimes use UNSCENTED fab softener sheets. I love the smell of Target's version of Febreze.

I used both liquid and dryer sheets. I probably don't need to but I like the smell. I use Suavitel liquid in the yellow bottle and whatever generic dryer sheets with a nice scent.

Don't use fabric softener on your towels, it maks them less absorbant. Every few months you should pull out your dryer's lint-trap (screen) andwash it with dish soap. The fabric softener will gum it up and inhibit air-flow in your dryer which could cause a fire.

I prefer the sheets. I found when I used the liquid all the time, that the towels became less absorbent.

Depends on if I'm gonna hang them out on the line or not..Downy liquid if I'm hanging them out. And whatever I grab for the dryer right now I have all and snuggle dryer sheets.

I prefer the sheets. When you take them out of the dryer, you can use them to dust your house. Because they reduce static, dust will stay off of the furniture longer. They can also be used to clean eyeglasses and to tame frizzy hair. Just remember that they have to have been used in the dryer first.

I prefer liquid. Downy is my favorite. I like to put it on my towels; it makes them smell and feel great and I have never had any trouble getting dry.

Sheets...less mess...and less chance of spotting your clothes if it doesn't dissolve in the water properly. No favourties....Downy, Bounce...whatever but usually unscented so that it doesn't compete with the scent of the laundry detergent.

I like to use liquid downy with the downy ball. then for an extra boost of freshness, I use the downy sheet.

I prefer sheets, because ...
well, no reason other than I keep forgetting to catch the washer in the rinse cycle. :)
My favorite brand is Gain.

I use both even though i know it's bad for your clothes. I prefer Downey because the yummy smell matches the same Tide smell i use and my clothes smell like a fruity summer breeze.
