Camera phone offers only 1.3 pixels, while a digital camera can go as far as 10 megapixels. The higher the megapixel, the better the photo quality and detail, especially when you enlarge the photos.
If you care about good photo quality, a digital camera is the way to go. I would highly recommend looking at the Casio Exilim line at Radio Shack. Very good camera, even takes high quality videos.

digital camera,
phone can get
lost
forgotten,
slip out of your pocket.
scratch,
fall,
belive me,
if it falls let just say you will most likely be like
ahh noo!
if a normal phone falls no bigde
digital camera is bigger there for less chance of losing her
and you will enjoy digital camera better than camera phone cause
you can't take picture of far away things

I would prefer a digital camera because it usually has better zoom and it has more pixels for higher quality photos. I have a camera phone and it totally sucks because there aren't many pixels and it doesn't have great flash or zoom.
