Dieting offers challenges to this question. You sound very reasonable in your choices and having a few extra calories probably will not be an issue. What can be challenging is the mental rationalization that can occur. So, that anytime you feel tired or weak you add more food. This could become a habit and reduce your weight loss. I would suggest that you increase foods high in iron and protein. During our period, we have a lower iron level and be slightly anemic. This can lead to feeling weak and tired. Also, choose to include some extreme self care during your period. Go to bed early, take a nap during the weekends, drink more water and listen to other things that your body is craving. Anything to allow your body to replenish.

the reason you experience vulnerable is because of all of the blood you're dropping, or extra incredibly, you're dropping extra iron than universal. First, i could consult with a doctor to verify of what's making you experience vulnerable, it must be some thing extra extreme. yet while it is not, i could take iron pills or eat in basic terms slightly extra iron throughout your era to stability out what you're dropping.

Sure. But you want to take magnesium amino acid chelate 400 mg per day. It will reduce any discomfort. For weakness, take Vitamin C 1000 mg 3 times per day. Both are relatively inexpensive. the C you can get at a pharmacy. The magnesium get at a local health store or vitaminshoppe.com.

You can have a normal diet, no need for extra calories during the periods.

I see no contraindication for this. Obviously if your feeling weak, you might not be having enough calories. Why haven't you had a period in six months? Are you having some hormonal imbalance?

Yes. Scientific studies have proven that women on their period actually burn 1/3 more calories than they normally do. Therefore, eating a little more is okay, as long as you don't overdo it. If your body is hungry, FEED IT!
