I've just heard about Beyonce's latest project, apparently she plans on losing weight for her upcoming film 'Dream Girls,' though, the weight loss was all her idea. The producers of the film deemed her perfect for the role (for reasons far beyond my understanding), however, the aspiring actress felt that the role should be taken a bit more seriously. Imperative attention should be placed on "not just hair and makeup." Hey, Matt Damon did it - let's all try: maybe it will make us feel more like authentic actors. My question: Is poor M(r)s. Knowles-Z feeling a bit intimidated, and a tad pressured to keep up with her replacement, Rihanna?? Thoughts please.

I think the question at hand should be,
Why do movie producers hire musical "talents" to act in their films? I remember when film stars were actors, and not "pop" stars.
Beyonce is a girl who's body is in terrific shape. She is trim and toned while still not being too thin. I think by her losing weight for a film she was hired for because she was "perfect" is ridiculous. She should be fired, and charged for production delays.
Personally, I will not watch a movie that has Beyonce or any other pop princess in it. IE Lindsay, Paris, Hillary etc.
As for Rihanna, bad idea. She has yet to become a household name, such as in the case of Beyonce.

i don't have anything against Rihanna. I think she's pretty good at singing but i don't know about acting. Beyonce is a very beautiful woman and she can act. Nobody shouldn't replace either one. They're both very talented and beautiful women. And that about Beyonce losing weight, it's just sad 2 hear cuz then people r gonna start rumors that she's anorexic. She doesn't need 2 lose anymore weight. Her body is perfect just like her voice is perfect.

Beyonce should have stuck with destiny's child and not gone solo or to acting. I like Rihanna's music better than Beyonce's. Beyonce has been around for awhile and rihanna is a little freasher than her.

Rihanna is HORRIBLE at acting. I saw a video on MTV of her acting and it was freaking horrible.
Beyonce better get that role! I wish she wouldn't lose weight. She's beautiful.
