It's certianly not a legal problem. It just no female has inspired enough trust yet. If you start in low end politics now you can build a record of accomplishments ie; state senator, chairmanships, and fund raising drives. build a huge list of regular donors. This is power in politics. Make lots of allies pile up lots of favors to use when you go for prez. This all takes a lot of time a good 10-20 years. The best office to make a presidential run from are state governors and senatorial offices. They show you have admin experience and know how to handle a congress or legislature. Hoping hillary will be 1st female prez if not learn from her mistakes.

Sure, providing she makes sense, is tolerant, can take all the crap that is piled on a President, and is ready to admit that she is wrong, once in a while.

Women have played the "sweet and nice" game since the beginning of time. That's nice in a kitchen or bedroom but it's not what we want to lead us through all the stuff that the world has to throw at us.

Most of all, a woman has to be trustworthy; it has to show by the way she holds herself and the way she speaks. She can't waffle and use 500 words just to say "Yes".

Someone like Hillary will not get the male vote and I have a feeling she would not get the female vote. She doesn't seem to be trustworthy, there's something sneaky about her.

There are others in our country who would make great Presidents.

Are you rich? Do you belong to one of the only two political parties in the United States? Are you a white woman? Are you related to individuals in the present government? Do you have business connections to corporate America? If the answers to all of these questions is yes then maybe you do stand a chance to be an American President? But do you really want the job? How about President of Yahoo or Goodyear Tire?

Sorry but no. i would love a women to be president a black women at that. i think we need ideas from other people of other cultures for once but hte way this society is set up its not gonna happen, all presidents have all been:

white
christian
heterosexual
family man
rich
old

its like the unwritten rules of the constitution. when moms and dads tell their kids they could grow up and be president they are either lying to fill their kid with hope or just dont realize thats how it is and if we want it to change we have to change the systerm.

i surely hope so. the way men have been running things in office, i doubt things could get worse. if hillary clinton ever decides to run for president---and i hope she will--- she's def got my vote. she's strong, well-educated, intelligent, and classy. in other words, the complete opposite of good ol' dubya. i'd be welling to bet almost anything that if hillary were in office right now, we wouldn't be fighting this ridiculous war. i bet condoleeza rice would make another good president. perhaps they should run on the same ticket and represent both sides. al gore would make an excellent v.p. should both of these ladies decide to run for pres.

I don't see any reason why a woman couldn't be a good president. The only problem is that people should get over their prejudiced ideas. I for one, I wouldn't vote based to the gender of the candidate, but for his or her ideas and beliefs.

Yes but not if she is perceived to be a b itch. Men won't vote for one that flies a broom. If Hillary runs watch what happens. Does anyone doubt that if her hubby dufus wasn't President she would have won a senate seat.

Yes, but you'll need to start using your spell-checker first. A president always writes correctly so be sure and pay attention in class and you, too, will have the opportunity to become president.

If someone as inept as George W could run and win two elections in a row, than anybody can. Just know what you're doing.
