I don't own expensive jewlery, just a lot of ordinary stuff from aldo and I get bad rashes from it. Obviously it's an allergy but is there something I can do or get to coat my jewlery or for my skin that will allow me to use my stuff?

yes i would say it is a nickle allergy and there are things you can get to coat it. Clear nail polish is one of them. And I have to tell you the word is although...not aldo

It is probably the nickel content from the accessories that give you the rashes. Avoid buying jewelries that have this. If you can buy crystals, beads, plastics and even real gold for that, it will be better. Another thing is avoid wearing jewelries for a long time since sweat can have a bad reaction to the contents of the accessories.

Other than my gold and silver stuff I have to coat it in a clear nail polish before I can wear it.I put 3-5 coats on it before I wear it. I have not found anything else that works other than keeping it clean and not wearing it for long.

i can't wear fake jewelry. when i was little i had a watch i loved but it gave me a rash, so my mother put a coat of clear nailpolish on the back of it. It worked, but occassionally, you'll have to recoat.

You probably have an allergy to fake stuff...I do too, I can only wear real silver (but that sorta sounds cool, doesn't it) "uh, yeah, I can only wear REAL stuff." lol
