does the spybot tea timer work with any browser,i spotted it while lookin in advanced setttings
unlike the immunization feature which only works in internet explorer,it looks like this works from the desktop and not the browser....is this true
if any one can help me with this question ,it would be greatly appreciated

As far as I understand, the Teatimer settings only work with Internet Explorer. Spywareblaster works with Firefox, but I'm not sure if it also works with Opera and Netscape.

Have you tried Avast! anti virus, it also works with some trojans and has 7 real time scanners, one of which is for your internet connection.
Plus there's Ewiso anti trojan, those two don't conflict.

Plus access the net from a limited account, not an administrators account; that should help if you're concerned.

Yes it does work from the desktop... Basically it monitors any registry settings that takes place when your system is, for instance, installing a new program... When it notices something is being added or modified it will ask you what you want to do... Personally to me, it's annoying and I disabled it... Of course you can also tell it to remember that you're ok with a registry change if you know why a modification is taking place.
