for the same reason people ridicule fat, disabled people and shout when speaking to foreigners .ignorance or sometimes fear.i used to spend a lot of time comforting my nephew when he first came out because a few ignorant,thoughtless people thought it was funny to ridicule someone who was different in their eyes and had no idea how hard it was for him to accept being gay and to come out.it was hard for me to stand by and see him hurt all i could do was to re enforce how much i loved him and that it was who he is inside that mattered.i was so proud of him when he made a comment back and begun to be himself.

We all know people who think they know everything. And then there are the lonely people who will post anything just to get a reaction. I wish Yahoo actually moderated this forum so that the true garbage questions (and answers) would get filtered out. I can deal with diversity of opinion, but some of the stuff people post here is garbage.
Like when I see a question that starts out "Why do all gay people......." I know the part that finishes the sentence will probably be a misconception, myth or just a hateful lie.

May I ask what comments you are talking about? This is way too general of a question to make a comment on with any intelligence. Don't expect everyone to embrace your lifestyle. To tell you the truth I couldn't care less about gays. Just as long as they leave me alone. Don't tell me I have to love you all.

The fact is that the ability to recognize the beauty in everyBODY exists in everyone. This scares the straight folks. Fear causes hate. Hate causes rage. Rage- stupidity. And so on.
Example: check out any sex based dating site. You won't find a single straight guy who won't take on a Tranny (chicks with *****). Now... Buy a "straight" guy a drink then start goin down on him. He may never admit to it, but he won't stop you either.
IE, all "straights" are merely repressed bi's at best.

Well I guess they didn't get the memo that sexuality is not a choice, it is hereditary. And they feel they need to impose their views on people - though few of us who are enlightened know that god made us all and no one is going to burn to a crisp anytime soon.
It really is a waste of their time, better question is why does yahoo allow them to continually post there.

well they tell jokes coz they r afraid , coz homosexuality is something that they don't know which makes them fear it , it's just like being afraid of the dark , why do people get afraid of the dark!! coz they don't know what lies in the dark ,
and about the jokes it's just a way to express ones fears !! , some people crack jokes , some people scream !etc

thet loath us because they're afraid we actually are happier and have a better more active sex life than they do (the truth!) they secretly want to come out, but because of all the garbage and guilt ladeled on since birth they don't have the nads to do it........don't even give 'em a slap thats all it'd take to make 'em shoot thier wad, you know they're typing one handed dontcha?
