I'm actually surprised no one has mentioned this one.

My favorite is Californication by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and this is because the album is f*$#ing amazing and every single song is again, f*$#ing amazing, it was such a ground breaking album, just full on rock, and is done by an amazing band, and was produced by one of the best (if not the best) music producers out there, Rick Rubin. This album also opened me up to the beautiful world of music, where before I sadly only knew of what was played on Top 40 radio stations.... *shudders at memory* I owe everything to this album.

A Night at the Opera by Queen. That is the best album of all time. It has everything you could want from music in it. It's like getting 393 albums for the price of 1. A close second is Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy by Mindless Self Indulgence. 30 tracks of fun....enough said.

Album... I would have to say Rush of blood to the head and parachuites By Coldplay, Songs about Jane By Maroon 5 and anything else that I love, that the whole entire ablum was good.

Too often in today's music you spend $10 to $20 on a CD and you only get 2 good songs... I hate that! These are a few of the many bands I like, where every song was as good as the popular raido friendly songs...

"Electric Lady Land"
Why? Hendrix was the most innovative guitarist of the era and as far as I'm concerned is still the best overall guitarist I've ever heard. Also, he had the best, or one of the best drummers around at the time and Noel Redding was by no means a 'slouch' on bass guitar and you have to take into consideration that "Redding" had never before played bass guitar, just a six string guitar.

And, his lyrics were so colorful and complete. Also, taking into consideration his age; died 2 months after his 27th birthday so that means all his beautiful and colorful songs were written and recorded while he was in his early to mid' 20's.

I have never seen a 26 year old musician that has accomplished as much as he. Of course one would have to take into consideration his chance meeting with Cathy Etchingham(?) at the "Cafe Wha?" in Greenich Village who was the girl friend of the "Rolling Stones" guitarist.

Pink Floyd - The Wall
Normally I don't like "concept" albums (see Operation:Mindcrime) but the theme of isolation, encapsulated in a member of a band and his audience is cool. Great music to go with the visuals of the movie.

My favorite (and First) album is Dookie by Green Day. I like it because it's about growing up, which is EXACTLY what I'm doing, so i can relate to it. London Calling by the Clash is pretty awesome, too.
