Give me you opinion.

Absolutely incorrect statement!!!
I am so surprised to read some comments about the "male world" having the monopoly of soccer: absolutely incorrect.
In the US the girls playing soccer are undoubtedly better than the boys. And that it is true in many other countries.
Then if we talk about "professional" soccer, without any doubts the men are stronger than the women, but it does not justify the statement that "soccer is ONLY for guys".
We should encourage people to play soccer, no matter what is their age, sex, religion or where they're coming from: SOCCER IS A UNIVERSAL GAME!!!

btw: and for those who think that women' soccer is not viewed in TV, you are completely wrong. If you like the game, soccer is wonderful to play/watch by anyone!

Of course it's not only for guys! Don't listen to morons like that. About half of it's fans are women. I used to play as a child at my school, but I haven't played in years so I've forgotten how, LOL, seriously though, I like to play goalkeeper, but I used to play without gloves. I love watching football (soccer), and it's definitely my favorite sport, and the world's favorite sport, it's very exciting, and it's very easy to become very captivated by it.

this is just a dumb question just like you. Football is a guy sports! Do you watch Women's football ? No you don't. And look at the answerers : all are girls. This has BECOME A GIRL FORUM!
Amze : You can talk about football only in this forum but the fact is Football is guy sports and if you watch a game with guys, they wouldn't give a **** about your comments. You can only blab here.

Hey Juventina,
It's only a small number of men that are so closed minded about our participation, love for and knowledge of football. I always giggle when I see those types of questions as their opinions that we should not be in the category are always based on the fact that they think we only watch for for nothing more than the "MAN FACTOR". Ridiculous. When I see Q's like do you think such and such is cute, I normally have to check them out on a search...lol, as its the last thing I look for when watching a game and most times I know them for their playing ability not their looks. Take it as a compliment that some think that, it's only their insecurity threatening their ego and intelligence. Most men I find on the forum do not mind one way or another and some are very appreciative of women's knowledge and participation. Minorities always feel they need to validate their thoughts, and the ones who pose questions putting down the female factor are just that, a minority. Take care.

I totally agree with the perception that a lot of guys think that football is guy's sport. For example, a certain guy which a lot of you'll know about who joined Y! answers a few days ago and was bashing many girls for asking questions because football is a 'guys sport'. As I say, football is universal............... race, gender etc. should not matter, all that matters is the beautiful game itself.

yeah i know how dare they! if it wasn't for us Females they wouldn't be there doing what they do though Man did come before Woman and the head of all Women is Men. but still we can appreciate football just as any dude. the reason I watch football contrary to what most guys think is cause of the sweet moves. really sweet moves and cause the sport is interesting. really interesting. NOT because of hot people.

if by that comment they mean that professional football is more entertaining to watch when its played by men, then sure....i agree (sorry girls...women's pro soccer just doesnt have the same magic in my opinion).

but im assuming thats not what guys mean...and in that case, juventina, you know i highly disagree. i'll challenge any guy to a football/soccer trivia match and i guarantee i'd win (im certainly not braggin)...but, id be willing to put money on that....

football unites all races and gender. My sister in law not only plays for a local womens team but also manages an under 11s team wich has both boys and girls playing.
Alas she is also an ardent arsenal fan ( for her sins) and knows all there is to know about football

It not!! Which Football do you play
American Football or the real football, which by the way you use you feet NOT YOUR HANDS!!

Who ever invented the American Football, was on heavy drugs.
Fooball is for everone, even my sis sometimes challenges me in one-on-one.
