i have (had) a tight girlfriend who borrowed a dress of mine that i hadnt even worn yet over a month ago....at first i got a bunch of wacky stories, now shes ignoring me completely. i havent been confrontational, just asked if i could get it back as i planned to wear it to an upcoming party. i get nothin, no matter how much sugar i put on it.

Sounds like a crummy friend to me. Did you give her permission to borrow it, or did she just "take" it??
I wouldn't waste much more time with a friend like this. My daughter's former best friend "borrowed" a jacket when we had her over, and nobody was home to give/not give permission.
Have asked her and her mother to please return it. Nothing so far. Are they my/my daughter's friends anymore? I don't know, but pretty sure they aren't.
Sad that a friendship ends over this, but I can't trust the girl anymore.
